So why the title “Don’t Give Up” for our book?
Well, have you ever had one of those days when everything is stacked against you? Followed by another day when everything is going great? Well, this is our story that we want to share to encourage you that all things are possible!
We are two people who fell in love in our teens, and we got married when we were in our late twenties. You might ask “What took us so long?” societies views and practical difficulties got in the way, but eventually we overcame them and now we live an extremely happy and fulfilled married life.
If you have anything to overcome we hope our book, and our talks, will encourage you to do your best to live the life you want to live, regardless of what it is you need to overcome.

We feel our fight to live in the community has been so worthwhile, because we do not have to share our flat, our car or our support workers with others. This means we are able to live as we choose, with the assistance of support workers who respect our choices.
We hope this book will encourage everyone to NEVER GIVE UP!
So far we have had a great life, so we have written a book because we want to help other disabled people have a great life too.
